Propel Africa 10 years anniversary
2008 was an important milestone for Propel Africa, due to the
fact that we left ten successful years behind us as a
group travel organizer to Southern Africa, yebo! Time has
flown since we started in August 1998. That just shows
what fun we have at work, and we are truly looking forward
to the next ten years! Lots of exciting things will happen,
and it will surely be interesting to see how Soccer World Cup 2010 will shape the future for the travel industry in South Africa.
Volvo Ocean Race
2008 was our most successful year so far in Propel Africa’s history. The execution of more than twenty groups during Volvo Ocean Race in Cape Town went extremely smoothly. Craig (our Operations Manager) and his team worked ate and dreamt about Volvo Ocean Race for a few months.
Soccer World Cup
In June/July 2010, South Africa is hosting the world’s largest
sports event, and we are highly involved in this fantastic project,
of course! We started the preparations already in the beginning
of 2008 and we are truly looking forward to this event.
Travel shows - We are exhibiting Barcelona, Cannes & Gothenburg
We have our own stand at both EIBTM (Barcelona), ILTM (Cannes) and at TUR (Gothenburg) These travel shows have become our best selling platforms for our different markets. Apart from our main market – Scandinavia, we also have clients from Brazil, Netherlands, France, UK, Romania, Germany, Portugal, Czech Republic and the Middle East.
